Consigner Agreement

Consigning

• Consigners must be 18+ years old to create an account.
• Rock It Resell reserves the right to terminate consignment privileges at any time, with or without cause, and for any reason, including but not limited to policy violations or conduct that disrupts store operations.

Consignment Period and Payment

• The consignment period lasts 90 days. Processing may take up to 30 days.
• The consignment period officially begins the month following drop-off.
• Consigners earn 40% of the sale price*, paid 10 days post-sale.
• Rock It Resell sets all pricing for items on consignment and retains the ability to change prices and have sales at our discretion.

* For third-party platform sales, the consigner's 40% is calculated on the sale price minus platform fees — effectively splitting the fee burden proportionally between consigner and Rock It Resell.

Drop-Off and Acceptance Policy

Item Drop Off

Consignment drop-off is from the 1st to the 21st each month.

Consigners may make one drop-off of up to two (2) branded RIR bags per month.

All drop-offs are accepted with the understanding that any items considered unsellable or not aligned with the store's current needs may be donated or disposed of at Rock It Resell's sole discretion. We do not offer pickup for items that are not accepted.

Accepted Items

We accept freshly laundered, in-season accessories, clothing, handbags, and shoes. All books, toys, and equipment must be clean, fully functional, and complete in their sets, including any required batteries or charging cords.

Large Items: Large equipment and large toys must be verified via email (rockitresell@gmail.com) or through the Contact Page on our website before being brought in to ensure adequate space.

Health and Safety Policy: For health and safety reasons, used socks and undergarments cannot be accepted. Any drop-off containing used socks or undergarments will be donated in its entirety. This policy is non-negotiable. Consigners are encouraged to sort items carefully before drop-off.

Consigned Items

Items Priced Under $50.00: Items priced under $50.00 that remain unsold at the end of the consignment period automatically become property of Rock It Resell and will be dealt with at the discretion of Rock It Resell.

Items Priced at $50.00 or Above: Items priced at $50.00 or above (including shoes, purses, furniture, and equipment) must be retrieved by the consigner before the final day of the Consignment Period. It is the responsibility of the consigner to locate and retrieve their Items. Should these items remain beyond their 90-day consignment period, they will become the property of Rock It Resell.

Bag Policy

To reduce waste and simplify the drop-off process, Rock It Resell provides consigners with reusable shopping bags for Items.

• Only Rock It Resell reusable bags will be accepted for drop-offs.
• New bags are provided with each drop-off.
• Lost, misplaced, or damaged bags incur a $4.00 replacement fee per bag.

Golden Ticket Holder Privileges

Consigners who achieve and maintain a 75% acceptance rate across three (3) or more drop-offs may qualify for Golden Ticket status. Golden Ticket Holders will be notified via email when their status has been upgraded.

Benefits

• Receive 4 Golden Branded Bags.
• Drop off at any time of the month with no limitations on frequency.
• 15% discount on all in-store purchases.

Luxury & Designer Item Authentication

Luxury, designer, and high-value items must be authentic. Items without proof of authenticity will be authenticated by Rock It Resell, with a $30 authentication fee applied. If the item is verified as authentic, Rock It Resell covers this fee, and no charge is applied to the consigner. If the item is determined to be inauthentic, the $30 authentication fee is charged to the consigner's account.

Liability and Payout

• Rock It Resell is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen goods.
• Payouts are available between the 1st and 21st of each month, with a minimum of $25.00 by check.
  • Checks will only be written to the account holder's name.
  • Mailed checks are only available for out-of-state consigners.
  • Lost or misplaced checks will incur a $15 fee.
• Credit on your account may be used at any time after the 10-day post-sale period for store purchases.
• Credit on your account may be paid by check up to 1 year from the end of your last item sale. After one year has passed, the credit will convert to store credit only with no expiration date.
